Vintage Americana comes alive as Ron and Nancy perform traditional country, bluegrass, folk, gospel, western, rockabilly, patriotic and early rock ‘n roll. With a repertoire of several thousand songs encompassing many styles and eras, they have combined their talents to create a sound reminiscent of the past. Ron & Nancy were inducted into the New York State Country Music Hall of Fame in 2018.
Ron & Nancy have entertained all across the country, have appeared at the Ryman Auditorium, the Nashville Nightlife Theatre, the Bell Buckle Café, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, and internationally in Canada, France & England. They have opened for many country legends including Tommy Cash, Stonewall Jackson, John Anderson, Mickey Gilley, The Kingston Trio, and Roy Rogers, Jr. Over the past decade, they have been featured at festivals and special events throughout the Northeast, including the New York State Fair and the Lumberland Cultural Series in the Catskills. They performed at the Tennesee/Virginia Rhythm & Roots Festival and opened for Memories of Conway performed by Conway Twitty’s son and grandson at the Paramount Theatre in Bristol, TN. On the west coast, they have entertained at many venues in the San Diego area including the historic Lafayette Hotel.
For more than a decade, Ron & Nancy operated a unique music venue on 100 acres along the Erie Canal. The Medina Stone Farm was a popular destination for motor coach tour groups and featured music shows, B&B lodging and barn dances. Harvest events included a corn maze, pumpkin patch & mule-drawn hayrides.
They have been featured on the Mountain Music Showcase television broadcast in the Tri-Cities, TN viewing area and have been guests on many radio broadcasts including “Country Gold Classics with Jack Boland” in Philadelphia, PA; “The J. Gregry Jamboree” in Bell Buckle, TN; “Farmer Brown’s Barn” and “Grandma Brown’s Parlor” in Syracuse, NY; “Bill Knowlton’s Bluegrass Ramble” in Syracuse, NY, and WOPI-AM/FM in Bristol, TN. For several years, they produced their own weekly radio show “Stone Farm Country” on WXRL, Buffalo, NY, using an old-time format singing live on the air.
Ron & Nancy have created and produced many theme shows including: “Tribute to Hank Williams Sr. & Patsy Cline”, “Tribute to Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash”, “OneSong Cowboy Salute”, “Country Legends Tribute”, “Country Heritage Music Revue”, and “Country Holiday”. They have recorded six all-acoustic projects: ”OneSong”, ”Christmas Unplugged”, “Heart & Soul”, “Country Heritage”, “Homestead” and “On The Air”. An autobiography of their early music career – “Stories of OneSong ” -was published in 2007.
